Whether it's moving the most air in the least time, or getting those last PSI's into your Kite & SUP - this pump does it with ease!
Combining the best of a HIGH VOLUME HUGE PUMP and a HIGH PRESSURE SUP PUMP you can inflate in stages, optimizing your effort along the way. At the beginning, the Double Action stage moves 6.5L/14Gal every time you pump it. Once the object is full and you begin to feel resistance from the air inside, a switch to Single Action pumps air every time you press down, releasing the resistance when pulling up. This allows you to use your weight while pressing down to pump the first few pounds/PSI's into your inflatable (from 1 to 5PSI). The final stage works in the same way and adds the internal SUP pump to take the effort out of those last remaining pumps. Going from 5 to 25 PSI requires less volume and more force, a perfect job for the Pressure Booster stage!

HiLo is a combination MEGA Volume Hand Pump(1.6 Gallons) + High Pressure SUP pump (25PSI). It can pump, with ease, everything from Kites & SUPs to Kayaks, Rafts, Dinghies, Donuts and Unicorns + all that floats in between. HiLo is cheaper than any alternative out there and it works with less effort because you only pump with 1 piston at a time and not with 2X the Friction(if you were comparing HiLo to Red's Titan Double Pump or similar ones).

Features:

- 25 PSI MAX
- 6.5L / 1.4 Gallon MAX Volume
- Double Action/Single Action + Pressure Booster Mode
- Filtered Intake
- Leash & Hook (for windsports)
- Hose management system

Looks really interesting !

Always amazed with what kind of new inventions people come up with.

Since I always ride an 18 sqm kite, I can't wait to try it !

139$ for a pump, I think I'll survive taking a couple more seconds to inflate my kite with a regular pump.

I have one of these pumps and trust me once you use it, you don’t want to use the old cheap pumps anymore.
Makes quick work out of pumping up big kites and high pressure SUP’s

That's great but pumping stuff up is isn't really a problem for me. Even a big kite only takes a minute or two to pump up.

What I really want is a micro pump I can leave stashed in the car for emergencies.

What really concerns me is that I have multiple boards and bars and kites and wings and foils. They're all for different uses but there's enough overlap that I have a spare of anything so I am never caught out. Most of those things can be repaired with a bit of duct tape.

I only have one pump. If that pump fails or I forget the pump or the adapter then I'm screwed. A spare micro pump would be great for emergency backup and travel. It would need to be compact enough to fit in the car in the spare tyre well with the other tools and emergency repair stuff.

Totally agree. I’m more annoyed by how big pumps are, and by the fact that they are a “single point of failure”. If that hose cracks… you are SOL out on the beach.

Like you said, I can make it work with a smaller or bigger kite or different board, but that pump is a pain. I’ve started actually carrying a second hose for when the first one fails.

Yeah, pumping is a pain, but I can deal with it.

actually, my main problem is not the pump itself but the mess brands make with valves and adapters. I have Duotone, F-One and Ozone kites and all of them use different valve adapters :angryfire: :angryfire: :angryfire:

Duotone pumps do not have F-One adapter (at least the kite comes with one until you loose it). Ozone, at least, use the simplest valve on the market and any pump will work.

Tona has the best valve connection. No stupid adapter! I still have a Epic big pump, that thing has lasted way longer than it should have.

For small kites it doesn’t make sense.

For big kites it’s a different world!

Half the time i dont even bring my pump in the beach and i borrow from my friends, or they borrow from me. I carry enough equipment from my car -> to the elevator -> and then to my apartment. Anything i can skip im skipping :D

Pumping up the kite while being super hyped about kiting is negligible for me. I look around to see how the wind is. Say hello to couple of guys, boom, kite is ready.

I would buy smaller and lighter pump over bigger one :D

If someone could find a nice way to pack wet kites without much mess. That would be the bomb :D

Edit* most of the times i ride either 12m or 9m
