Hello,
Heading to Crete for family holidays early November and wondering if it's worth taking kitesurf equipment as I understand it's off season there already. I'm specifically planning to go to Elafonissi. Any ideas regarding wind and whether I'd find anyone else around?
Thanks!
Gonzalo

It is off season but the winds in Greece (or the lack of them) are not so easy to forecast. It's not like summer that there is only north wind. So maybe there is north wind or maybe southwind (I guess by its location that then it will have waves) but maybe no wind at all. Why don;t you try to communicate with this kite school
http://www.elafonisi-kite.gr/ to have their opinion also. Because if you are not going to stay for long (and taking account of the expected days of prabable wind) maybe it will be better to rent. Either way they might give you more information.
