Does anyone know excatly where to find the Pay for Goods is located using PayPal as it seems to have disappeared or be hidden somewhere? I've looked I can't see it!

Ok so I guess no one uses PayPal for safe transactions when buying kite gear online?

Any safe and better alternatives?

Don't use the send to Friend feature, and you're protected. If you send to Friend then you're not protected. When not sending to Friend the seller is charged a PayPal service fee:

You just start with whom you want to send funds and how much. At one of the next steps you can select if you pay for goods or pay a friend. They changed this a while back. It used to be right at the first step. Now just start and you will see.

Yes to what everyone else said. ESPECIALLY NEVER PAY AS FRIEND OR FAMILY, unless they are friends or family otherwise, you are not covered by paypal buyer protection. Try and buy from folks within the same continent….almost got bent over a couple years ago on ikite. Almost made a big mistake.

I've been back on PayPal site
I'm looking at buying another kite but this time I will only buy it using the pay for goods or services option as at least as a buyer you used to get a little protection. Ie if product isn't as described etc or damaged/repaired and advertised as " used twice, like new or kite is crispy all this rubbish.

Where exactly is the option then to pay for goods or services??

I've used it recently but could not find this option

Does anyone know where it is precisely??

Or has PayPal removed the option??

I have not used ebay in a while so I just checked. You don't see the option for friends and family or goods and services till the last review page with the SEND button on it...

Also never ship to an UNCONFIRMED address.... I would also recommend taken lots of pictures if you are shipping something, the item, boxing it up, shipping labels and more...the more evidence you have of an honest transaction the better.
