Bandit 14m 2019 vs 2018 low end

Postby galou31 » Thu Oct 07, 2021 11:25 pm

Hi

I currently own Bandit 2018 in 11m and 14m. The 14m doesn't give much more low end than the 11m, mostly because it is much slower.

I have an opportunity to buy a 14m 2019 and I am wondering if the low end got better than the 2018?

Obviously I am not expecting something radically different. Also I know that unlike the Breeze, big sizes Bandits are not designed to be light wind specific. So I'm looking for some feedback from riders who have actually tried both the 2018 and 2019!

Cheers

I tried the 2019 model and I gave it back to the resellers after just one session.
The difference with the twelve is minimal. It is not a light wind kite.
In 2020, they split bandit in two different lines. I have the 2021 models and they are really fast. maybe they made some changes to the 14 at that point… but this is only a guess.

Bandits aren’t light wind kites. Plenty of options for light winds out there.

Well actually I got confused with vintage years as I thought the split was done for 2019. So there's presumably not much changes between 2018 and 2019.
Thanks for your feedback!

Yep 2019 was still single model although I think it was a fairly significant change from the 2018 models. The split range put me off to be honest. My simple brain prefers one kite for all conditions…
