Both 10 - 8 and 10 - 7 are acceptable overlaps. I would probably go 10- 8 because I think an 8 will be more fun to ride and it's in the sweet spot still for kite design (probably 8 9 and 10 IMO).

As kites get smaller, the quiver gap between them gets smaller as well. I'm with the peeps recommending 10 and 8.

Sure, as most have said the 10-7 gives you a wider overall range but the 10-8 gets you off the 10 sooner and the 8 I going to be more fun than the 10. But the 7 days are going to be even more fun. How many of those days are you realistically going to get?
