It’s and interesting topic and I’m glad people are sharing, but I’m not sure how more there is to say unless new information is provided?
I also get that you are upset, but at this point it is getting a bit difficult to know how upset you should be? Do I believe CrazyFly is some evil corporation? No. It seems like a small company that operates for the right reasons. Do I believe it is possible that they have made a mistake? Sure. Would it be disappointing if they didn’t take responsibility? Yes. Do I believe most companies are now extremely aware of their reputation taking a big hit due to stories on boards like this? Yes. Do I believe you got any reason to be this upset for no reason? No. Still, they way this thread is going I don’t really know what to think. That might just be my fault of course.
Havre, you are dead right Mate, the new information is required and it’s coming , rest assured
if the Crazy will not like it they may take me to the cleaners for the “damage” Im causing to their brand name, will see….
As Juraj Buckovsky assured all CF gear buyers:
“To be honest, the bar is definitely the most difficult product we make. I will repeat myself, but the most challenging part is safety. On the bar, nothing can break as this puts riders at high risk. All parts of the bar are very carefully designed to be extremely strong and durable …..
Plus, it cannot cost too much, because it is just a bar, right? “

QC of the depower cord aside there are multiple designs flaws in this bar that will cause it to wear out faster than other brands:
-
the use of only a single 2.5-3mm line, all other brands use this thickness doubled up or stronger lines.
- splices have extremely short bury and are straight cut
- depowerd cord and flagout line run together in a single bore PU tube, others like Cabrinha use a multi bore PU tube .
And btw you are not the one to help Evan that for sure, you claimed the Crazy use unacceptable undersized power line as per you comment above, I did ask you to confirm it but to no avail!

I have no bar to confirm it, that is why I ask you to check for the remaining upper part of the line that must be inside the tube. But there are also other pictures in this thread from others confirming it is only a single 3mm line.
Just the way you keep reacting makes me hesitant to help any further and almost feel bad for crazyfly if only they did not make this design flaw.

Not quite right, the Navigator is a very good bar and the lines are:
North use a similar size line but it is spliced back through itself so is double thickness.
Also :
North have a rectangular mainline with separated cores for the mainline and safety, they don't rub against each other.
BTW if someone thinks that single power line of this size that’s 3mm is sufficient for “boosting” 3m up and higher he should go and buy the Sickbar to try his luck
Though the “Spokesman” for the Crazy CaptainKook says very clearly:
“
The main depower line is probably 6mm or 8mm and has never given me any problems”
So perhaps you have to search for another Company making bars with 3mm Power lines!
Anyone knows one ????????

Not sure what you mean, the power line called also chicken loop line , centre line , or main depower line takes the full load of your weight and transfer to clam cleat. Then the load rests on clam cleat Depower Line. In case of Sickbar this line is 5mm in size it's on the smalller side but still quite acceptable since it's easy to see any wear on it, in case of power line it's different story since it's hidden in PU tube !
Simply speaking you put your own life on this Line, that’s the reason it is so IMPORTANT not to say other items are not, as Juraj Buckovsky assured us in 2018:
”On the bar, nothing can break as this puts riders at high risk”.

Faxie gear , I quote from his profile:
“Gear:
Crazyfly mostly”
Why not 8 tons Mate!? Perhaps then my power line would last more than 15 hours!

If you checked my profile, you would know I build my own bars. I rode them with my previous kites already, and didn't have the need to buy a new bar with the CF kites.
So why don't you go fuck yourself, mate?
