Today we received evidence that our now ex-retailer Andre @Kite Oz is asking customers to damage their CrazyFly bars and send in photos.
Interestingly, for sure out of pure coincidence, user dshunter65 (also from Melbourne like Cezary) joins this forum on 29.11 and posts a broken powerline. His only post on this forum.
Of course, our warranty department did not receive a claim with a photo like from dshunter65, nor any other claim about a broken power line.
dshunter65 we do hope you will contact our warranty department.

Today we received evidence that our now ex-retailer Andre @Kite Oz is asking customers to damage their CrazyFly bars and send in photos.”

Andre Danz CF Distributor in Australia at that time sent me a long email on 26/11/21 ,I quote part of it:

Safety is paramount and any miss or near miss needs to be investigated and I had actually put some questions regarding their investigation”
What questions did you ask the Crazy Mate to infuriate them so much that on 1/12 they came up with the above nonsense and cut you loose on that basis!
How deep into the gutter those people can crawl to continue the cover -up!?
Can they go any lower than accusing the decent and honest guy who used to be their Distributor for many years.
I believe yes they can do everything not to disclose why my practically new bar failed, not to mention another failure in Altona/Melbourne on 27/28 of November reported on page9.

Dear Juraj and your devotees on this forum,

for your info dshunter65 is not one of the guys your now ex. Retailer in OZ Andre Danz asked to damage your Crapbars (as you alleged)and sent photos to discredit good name of CF.
His faulty Crapbar was purchased in March this year just like mine, the only difference is his bar lasted 20 sessions and my only 7 or so.
If you don’t know it or pretend not to know the warranty claim was already made and the crap/faulty bar is going to be sent back.
Hope you can reveal the reasons for failure at least in this case!

As you stated Juraj in 2018 :

“All parts of the bar are very carefully designed to be extremely strong and durable. On the bar nothing can break as this puts riders at high risk”
“Plus, it cannot cost too much, because it is just a bar, right? “

Right Mate, we can do more until the Crazy ends cover-up and reveal the reasons why the Power Lines break in new bars:

1. My bar failed after 15hrs give or take
2. The bar in Altona failed after 20 easy sessions

Both bars bought Feb/March 2021

The”Spokesperson” for the Crazy CaptainKook
stated I quote:
“I can only say that in my own personal experience, CF is very good quality. The main depower line is probably 6mm or 8mm and has never given me any problems.”

Perhaps someone else can explain how such Line can break after 15hrs or after 20 sessions!?
It might take a while before The CrazyCrooks will answer this simple ?, but they will :!: you have my word for it :!: :D :jump:

Have you still not got the line out of the tube? Maybe try to find someone without two left hands who can....

Also your attitude doesn't make anyone help you any faster, just saying.

Thanks for your comment , but why do you think its my job to find the missing line not the Crazy who refused the examine the faulty bar due to the fact…… the power line was nowhere to be seen on after accident photos!!. just saying 😬

It’s and interesting topic and I’m glad people are sharing, but I’m not sure how more there is to say unless new information is provided?

I also get that you are upset, but at this point it is getting a bit difficult to know how upset you should be? Do I believe CrazyFly is some evil corporation? No. It seems like a small company that operates for the right reasons. Do I believe it is possible that they have made a mistake? Sure. Would it be disappointing if they didn’t take responsibility? Yes. Do I believe most companies are now extremely aware of their reputation taking a big hit due to stories on boards like this? Yes. Do I believe you got any reason to be this upset for no reason? No. Still, they way this thread is going I don’t really know what to think. That might just be my fault of course.

QC of the depower cord aside there are multiple designs flaws in this bar that will cause it to wear out faster than other brands:
- the use of only a single 2.5-3mm line, all other brands use this thickness doubled up or stronger lines.
- splices have extremely short bury and are straight cut
- depowerd cord and flagout line run together in a single bore PU tube, others like Cabrinha use a multi bore PU tube .

And btw you are not the one to help Evan that for sure, you claimed the Crazy use unacceptable undersized power line as per you comment above, I did ask you to confirm it but to no avail!
