CrazyFly Sick bar 2021 Falling apart mid jump - warning

This is as warning and request for your feedback.
2weeks ago my almost new bar named appropriately Sick fell apart 30min into a sesh during moderate conditions!
The failure happened at the height of 5.5m into 8-9m jump. The Woo registered 2.8sec time of fall.
The result of the free fall 4ribs smashed in 7 places!
The reaction of CrazyFly so far:
1. No apologies for their control bar failure.
2. No offer of compensation for pain&suffering, destroyed wetsuit/other gear/loss of earnings etc.
3. No explanation how such catastrophic failure could take place at all!
4. No request for more detailed photos or indeed the bar itself to examine this crucial part of our gear in
regard to the safety of the users!
5. No reaction to the fact the chicken loop line is MISSING on the photos!! Or perhaps it’s not supposed to be there ????
6. The Australian C/F dealer refunded the cost of the bar and that’s all, for CF the matter is now CLOSED!
In conclusion I quote the timely words of:
Juraj Bukovcak from CrazyFly in 2018 interview was asked:
“What’s the most challenging part of designing a bar?
To be honest, the bar is definitely the most difficult product we make. I will repeat myself, but the most challenging part is safety. On the bar, nothing can break as this puts riders at high risk. All parts of the bar are very carefully designed to be extremely strong and durable”
I guess no comment here is necessary!
The relevant reports are now made to ACCC in Australia
and equivalent in the USA, the matter is also in the hands of my Lawyer.

Guy i kite with has had several of the centre line rope snap on 2021 bar, also bladder and valve problems.

No shit!! Wow, is crazy fly still making the same bar?? With the same cheap materials they have always been using? I've seen lots of sick bars getting destroyed over time over and over again, lines snapping, plastics getting hard from the sun and cracking especially the main depower throw line. And they are still making the same bar? Jeesus. You are not the first one to have a sick bar incident my friend. Totally unacceptable. I mean cammon how much does it take to make a good working safe bar? Most companies got it right these days, not that hard is it? it's like 2021! I got an Ocean Rodeo Pilot bar 3 years ago and it has been my only bar with probably over a thousand hours on it and still looks like i got it yesterday. Built like a tank. These sick bars fade away after a year of moderate use.
Sorry Crazy Fly but this is unacceptable.

Yes Soleas,
they are making pretty much the same shit from 2015! and you might say I deserve what I got for being stupid enough to buy this crap!
If as you say there are other riders injured while using this deadly device I would like to hear from them!
In my 12 years of kitesurfing I never heard about an injury caused by a faulty control bar!…. let alone an injury of such magnitude as mine, it’s also easy to imagine the situation if the bar fell apart near the peak of my jump.
In a sense I was extremely lucky perhaps that’s the reason CrazyFly doesn’t give a shit about what happened!

Haven't seen or heard of anyone getting hurt but i've seen their bars falling apart over time too many times over the years and I was surprised they still make the same bar!

How did you destroy the wetsuit? Cutting it off?

Yes Mate,
Xcel front entry 4/3mm plus Ion thermo top 2mm that I had that day and who knows perhaps that extra 2mm softened the blow enough not to crack the ribs open!

what was water depth at this bar failure? from 5m fall its difficult to comprehend that you were so severely injured.
Was there some deadloop due to bar failure or just a free fall once it broke?

Indeed, the pictures and story could have been a lot clearer.
It now reads and shows as an angry customer who tries to make "catastrophic pictures" in stead of a clear picture and story of what actually broke and how.

e.g. the pictures show a big mess with the lines and a deflated kite for drama but its hard to discern what actually broke and how.
I *assume* the coated tube should be part of the chicken loop construction but I have no clue if that is a load bearing construction or if its only a shell over the lines with no load on it.
