We all know how high the experts can jump in nuking condition with oversized kites. What I want to know is how high can us regular joes jump in normal conditions.
How high can most of you jump with 20mph/17.38knts of wind??

Between 8m and 11m, depending on kickers with my 12m Hyper. I rarely have a session with a highest jump under 10m, unless I'm barely powered.
Having said that, when very powered with any kite, it's mostly between 12m and 16m depending on water conditions. Sometimes 17m and PR is 18+ now.
The thing I struggle with most on 25+ days is getting good speed and finding the room to jump...

I’m totally stoked if I can land and ride away clean from 1-2 meter jump on my surfboard.
And I’ve broken a lot of surfboards.

20 mph steady wind is rare. Usually, there are stronger gusts. You also need to take into account that lighter riders will jump higher than heavier riders.

Guys, let me know if you make it to Brazil one day…I want to ride with you in max. 17 knots and compare, because I can’t believe what I am reading here.
If we talk 17 average, with gusts in mid 20’s, it’s a different story….
