Knots/2 = Woo meters without a woost
So 18 knots would be 9m max for me. Theoretically

Guys, let me know if you make it to Brazil one day…I want to ride with you in max. 17 knots and compare, because I can’t believe what I am reading here.
If we talk 17 average, with gusts in mid 20’s, it’s a different story….
Many people have a lot of fantasy ....

In my whole life I think I have seen two jumps that might have been 10m+ in conditions around 17 knots. They are so rare I even remember those two specifically- one in Cumbuco and one in Langebaan. And I could not guarantee that they were 10m+, but they were a lot higher than any other jumps seen on those days. Both very skilled riders. And they guy in Cumbuco was rather wild as well. Crashed like no tomorrow, but just kept on going jump after jump.
Seen more on Woo of course
There are a lot of days right over 15 knots here and at one of the spots one typically jump right before you get back to shore. Meaning standing on shore people are almost jumping over you. Which makes it quite easy to evaluate the height of the jumps. Somewhere around 4m is quite common among fairly skilled riders I would say. It always shows up as 8-9 and maybe even 10 on Woo though. Obviously I cannot guarantee that all these riders haven't managed something special for one jump during those sessions, but I find that unlikely.
For 100kg guys like me I'm not even sure it is possible with today's equipment? Unfortunately I don't have world class skills so I couldn't tell.

I struggle to get a lot higher than 10m or so but thought it was because I was rubbish! To be fair I don’t know these days because I got bored of using a device to inaccurately measure them.

Average 12kn gusting 15kn
12.3m, 7.5 sec hangtime
Flysurfer Soul 10m, line length total 25m
tiny chop kicker
That can’t be 12m
Why not? The stats are from my Woo and in the picture it looks legit? 25m lines if you take the distance from me and the water is about half my line length. Anyways I have pleeenty of sessions on my woo like this. And loots of witnesses
Toby I think it's the local effect we have here. 15 knots here is not the same like else where. When I ride in a different town I get much less lift with same wind.
Plus, I'm 65 kg. It's easy for me to get height in light wind. And hangtime. But, I can only jump that high in this light winds only on the Soul 10m.

I was in Brazil november 2019, and my jumps were noticably lower there. Struggled to reach 15m on my 9m even though I could barely hold it.

Soleas, you’re gonna hate me, but that picture can’t display a 12m jump
Assuming your board is 140cm, and that it is perfectly aligned with the picture, I can count 6 times the board length
The question initially was about the average joe: I guess 6m jumps is that wind would be something already quite correct.
Off course you will have always people bragging about much higher jumps

Flying Seb ofcourse I won't hate you as all my lightwind sessions are like that, there's nothing to prove. I live on a small island and i'm quite known here for my big jumps in light winds.
A picture can mean a thousand things but since you carculated using the board try doing the same with the lines.
My lines are 25m, go ahead and draw a straight line from my board to the water and then take that line and put it on my lines.

On one of the Tarifa big air events you could see the height they jumped online.. Almost no one reached 20meter… most were like 15-18….
I just watched next to working…
It was windy!
And approx 30percent if the jumps were crashed….
