I havent kited much at all in the Palmico ( Rodanthe-Buxton-Washout), but the water temps is slightly warmer than Rehobeth Bay.
So do people still kite in the N-NW winds ( E-NE for the washout) now through December?
Just the opposite from the S-SW.

all year round when the wind is blowing yeah. water does get cold, could be cold enough for a 5/4. it has frozen a couple days a year in the past, but you can kite year round there
