Big air should become more extreme again, with everyone using bow kites and pulling the loops at the apex of the jump the extremity is gone. When the kite isn't in view it's now sometimes hard to see if someone has even kitelooped or sent the kite forward.
Back in 2016 the tricks were maybe not as technical but the loops had a lot more punch and extremity to them, I'm glad that in KOTA they rewarded this again. Now it's up to the riders to combine all the new moves with more extremity again. Would also be great to see more unhooking as long as it looks good, I'm not a fan of a high dangle pass but Aaron's kiteloop backside pass was super stylish.
This is the stuff I would like to see more (this is 12 years ago already...)

Yes, wind dropped already in second semi final…so female and male final’s were not that great.
Check the first semi final, all riders had top scores with 9+.
Yeah I watched the entire thing. The Janek, Cohan and Princip heat was sick. And Cohan even knocked Janek then he didn't land any tricks in the final. Will be interesting to see Cohan in KOTA
Who were the top three winners? There was an Lieuwe Oceana board up for grabs.
I wonder the same, probably the same 3 guys who were in the final I know 1 for sure had to read it through the shop who sponsors. I am a person who types in BAKL in iG, I get no updates through social websites from them or surfr. Very weird no time now for it! And what about the women they had a final of 5 or something ? I was also wondering if KotA was maybe shortly 2 times in a row like last year they did the postponed and now new year new KotA, but that is not likely going to happen (Would be maybe too much, but I am probably not the only one who suspected or hoped for this? )

Those flat water loops from Oz. I watch them every now and then. That is the way a loop should look like. One of my favourite kite clips. (the other one is also kite loop related, but I cannot find the bloody clip anywahere - Jesse Richman Shred machine which lasts about 1min20s with "I got summer on my mind" as a soundtrack - bloody awesome UH tricks with loops, insane, even better than few new freestyle tour tricks. He was still on torhc back then - 2011/12/13 make, cant remeber).
Some more golden oldies, in more extreme conditions but look at the way the kite goes round, how deep the kites go and the yank the riders get. That's the stuff I want to see
