Looking for something with low bar pressure, is the xr7 that much lighter than the 6? Thinking maybe orbit is the way to go but with 24M lines instead of the stock 22.

What size are you looking at? For me, any size below an 11m on an XR is medium. I haven't tried >10m XRs.
The XR is a better jumper than the Orbit. Only look at an Orbit if you're interested in kiteloops/megaloops.

10 and 13.5 xr6 seem very boring and hard to loop (for surface tricks. Of course easy to jump.
Just get nervous with the orbit being called more of an all a rounder and not a jumper. But would consider the trade if the bar pressure is seriously lighter

The Orbit fits into the same category as the other big boosters and will out jump most kites out there. Unfortunately, in that top tier boosters category, it comes in somewhere at the bottom. Basically, they traded overall height for a bit of loopability.
I thought the XR would be good for surface tricks due to the long, slow loop? The bar pressure is indeed much lighter on the 10m. I can't comment on the 13.5 XR vs the 14m Orbit.

The xr just has this delay after the loop where it doesn’t want to move, not very smooth. Maybe the 7 has moved it in the right direction. Any idea if the rebel would be a mix between the orbit and xr?

I didn't notice much difference in the bar pressure from the XR6 to the XR7, but to me it has light bar pressure for a big air kite relative to the other delta bow shaped kites on the market. However, I did notice that Core has made the XR7 a bit faster, jumps a bit higher, and definitely loops better than the XR6.
The Orbit has less pressure on the bar, but I don't consider the Orbit to be in the same class of kite as the XR (or Rebel or Edge). It comes down to your style of riding when deciding between the Orbit and XR - two different beasts.

Yes, but it's mostly on the XR side rather than the Orbit side of the spectrum.

Orbit 2022 is the kite you should go with. Perfectly tuned, really good jumper, fast, light bar pressure. A five strut kite that feels and reacts like a 3 strut kite.

If you do loads of loops with one hand the orbit is the way to go, very easy to steer or loop with one hand due to the light bar pressure plus reactiveness (don't need to yank the bar to make it loop). Yes a little less height and float but very fun to fly

on the 2022 the height and float is not far behind the XR7, Rebell. They are really close and is depending on your experience. The benefit on the Orbit is, you can hold it better for jumping than the XR7. It is much easier to hold the edge and jump high. So I think if you are not such a heavy rider, the benefit is on the Orbit side in comparison on the XR7. And the feeling is completely different too. And for looping you cannot compare them, because they are totally different. The Orbit is made for it and you can trust that kite that it will catch you nearly in every condition. If Core wants a kite that is close to the Orbit, they have to built a completely new one. I think Duotone is doing the same at the moment as Aaron is riding a new 5 strut looping and jumping prototype. I am expecting duotone is coming up with a new 5 strut looping machine for the KOTA.
