I was just wondering if anyone knows the length of the North Navigator 2021 lines? Just the lines themselves without leaderlines, pigtails etc.?

178cm, 70kg. 12m Dice 2022 is pretty good for loops in light wind. Good for any type of loops - surface, landing, heli, mega, backroll handdrag transition, etc. But have less support in the air than true BAK machines like XR. So it is a bit tricky to learn grabs or massive one foot with it. Dice needs a lot of steering in the air. I have 9 and 12 Dice 2022 and I’m not a pro - a little bit loops, a little bit bigair and basic unhook. For those riders who want to do everything Dice is definitely top 🔝

You didn’t asked about Dice but I described it as on my opinion it is really good for loop leaners. Fast, predictable and forgiving.

There are three setups for lines on kite. I use middle most and 12m kite is still loopable. Faster steering setup is good if you dedicate your lightwind session only to loops. And unhooked setup I don’t like at all there are too much pressure on the bar but I can’t say kite became more stable without steering as you could expect for true unhook.

Just a quick update on the thread itself:
I first got a 9m Orbit just to try it out. And what can i say, i liked it so much in ended up switching to the orbit fully.
Espicially the 8 and 9m are so easy to loop it has already helped me gain the confindence to do my first barspins. And the 11m loops reasonably well even in lighter wind.
So all in all the new kites do exactly what i had hoped.

I would also say your selection is inverse. I dont dare to loop my Edge 8 anymore and switched to a Pivot (also for other reasons) but now the Pivot loops feel truly pussy after you know how the Edge 8 loops. And I am happily looping the Edge 11.

Because he asked about Orbits sizing and not your favourite kite?

It's easier to learn on an Orbit than Dice. Orbits are more forgiving, don't pull as hard, about the same speed, and more lofty after the catch.

I can’t say Dice is my favorite I didn’t ride Orbit yet to compare. From riders on spot I heard a lot different feedbacks on Orbit. Most of them positive and thats reasonable for North production. Hope once I will try Orbit. I still need 6-7m bigair kite in my quiver. Right now just waiting and don’t want go to the water with 9m dice in 35 knots )
