Man most of these bars need the steering lines to be a little shorter and tighter than standard to get maximum power and range out of the kite anyway! Probably flies much better the way you have it. I always make sure I am on the third knot under floats shortening the front lines a bit to give the maximum power and range on the kite anyway especially on lower stuff.

Incidentally, this is the most combative, bellicose and pugnacious kite forum I've seen. Unsure why that's the case. Probably a pommy thing
In Oz we are really supportive of each other and it is pretty much always a good vibe.

No need for the omg terrible core customer service posts then..
Well the first guy I chatted with was terrible customer service... Then he seems to have passed it over to someone next day who knew the answer.
In any case, uneven pigtails is not correct, but you can simply loosen the knot at the end (front lines) and move it down the pigtail a bit which is what I have done.
Ok you do you.

Besides. Why wouldn’t you keep your bar and lines up to factory spec. Otherwise it’s like letting you cars wheel alignment get out of spec. Things are designed to work within parameters and if you care about your equipment you should keep it within those parameters.

Yes I tend to agree, not entirely Pom driven more often whining Seppo's that I suspect get charged more than most for stuff and whine like bitches on here rather than seek out help from a dealer if anything goes wrong. Most of us that are left visit rarely these days, it aint the place it was back in the day.
