Wacky. It's normal to have uneven pigtails at the kite end. So for instance the bridle ends then there's a pigtail that ends in a loop and also a pigtail that ends in a knot. Brands will often adjust the size of the bridle pigtails to make the lines come out correctly so that they are even at the bar. It's not normal to have uneven pigtails at the line end. So you might have 8 pigtails 4 at the bridle and 4 at the lines. Is it possible the bridle pigtails got moved to the lines or maybe the line pigtails got lost so you used the bridle pigtails on the lines? In any case put the kite in the air see how it feels adjust it to your liking.
And yes you absolutely want even pigtails on the line end so replace those.

Gee thanks Matty V and there was I salivating over the prospect of selling our subterranian colonial cousin a nice new set for the principle sum of £7.40 and making half a crown or two, having held them in stock for a couple of years, just waiting for someone somewhere's to wear out. Then paying probably more than that to ship them out on the next prison transport vessel.. (Are we still sending our vagabonds down under?). Then again after what those cruel b'stards did to our fine cricketers, I'm not sure I'll bother, or maybe I'll secretly polish one side of one like they do to their cricket balls..

Your lines are fine as can be seen in the picture you provided
When you attach the knot on the line to the loop on the kite it will be even
Please stop panicking
Why do you think I’m panicking. I just asked a simple question….
Is it normal for core pigtails to be different lengths in front and rear line?
That actually requires a one word answer, yes or no.
I’m aware of wow to trim lines etc. I just want to know if my pigtails are stretched. If so I’ll buy a new set.

Come on captain core. You must have an answer
AAACB496-3824-46D6-9F74-8D43FE21776B.jpeg
And as if by Magic here I am happy new year.
Re connectors they are supposed to be equal length (in their pairs obviously)
As per this picture on my fine new attempt at yet another cheap website.
https://www.ease-distribution.com/senso ... -loop-pair
As for lines, all lines stretch for any number of reasons and it is recommended you attempt to rectify by yanking on the short line to attempt to even them up, Core lines are lyros dyneema and they aint as bad as a lot of lines from other outfits I could mention. Had a picture once of the rep showing Core dealers what to do at a dealer meeting. I shall try and find it and maybe report back, but there are probably videos out there somewhere.
Short answer to your connector problem buy new ones.
Thanks. That was the answer I was looking for

Actually I did get a better response from core. They say the pigtails should be the same length from new. They also say on their website to trim lines from the line end not the end of the pigtails so it does make a difference

It is probably a result of the front-lines being more loaded than the steering lines - thus they shrink less. As long as the left and right side are equal, it is not a big deal if the steering lines are 2 cm shorter, some people trim them so on purpose, to have access to full power further out from the body. It might lead to slight back-stall tendencies when sheeting in full, if so, you can just compensate with a bit of deepower-trim.

Well the first guy I chatted with was terrible customer service... Then he seems to have passed it over to someone next day who knew the answer.
In any case, uneven pigtails is not correct, but you can simply loosen the knot at the end (front lines) and move it down the pigtail a bit which is what I have done.
