Typical wetsuit for Leucate France 2nd half of April?
3/2 + impact is too cold? Safer with 4/3 + impact? Stats say 14 C in the water... Brrrr. Some would even chose 5/3 I suppose but that is too much.
Thanks!

Why ask if you already know what wetsuit you want to wear?

While you get plenty of nice days in April, water temperature is still fresh. Weather is quite changeable, spring conditions. A couple of days of strong Tramontane, and all the surface water that was getting nice and pleasantly balmy will be pushed offshore and you're back to 13C... And wind chill is a thing over there!
I've gambled traveling with a good 3/2 in the past, but I also turned blue on some days, and it was in Montpellier, arguably slightly warmer than Leucate.
You can't really go wrong with a 4/3. Overheating in the wetsuit is never a problem. Scoop some more water if you ever need to refresh.
