Anyone know some brands that do extended height grab handles for airstyle? Something in the realm of 10cm highs vs the normal 4 or 5. Back in the day people were making them with 3D printers or long pieces of aluminum
I'm blessed with long legs and T-Rex arms and can't even do a board off on the couch these days. But given a few extra cm It would be within reach. And no it's not my stomach getting in the way but possibly my mystic harness locks my core a bit too much.
I see Flysurfer do an Airstyle Pro. Are there any others? Got the idea after seeing Andrea Principi doing mad board flips in his vids with one

Find a metal worker in your area. Show him a handle and tell him how high you want it.
Let him make it out of Aluminium.
It’s a piece of cake for him to do.
Then get grip tape for tennis rackets, hockey racket or bike grip, and wrap it around.
Ready to flip and spin etc

Easy.
PVC pipe, heat gun, a drill for the holes of the 2 screws or you can heat up a metal rod to make the 2 holes if you dont have a drill and you will also need a saw to cut the pipe. PVC pipe is cheap and easy to work with when heated. You can easily make a few of them in different sizes in 10 min and if you mess it up you can make another one in 5 min. For the final touch you can add a bicycle handlebar grip or wrap a tennis racket grip. I will post a photo of mine later to get the idea.
Very strong and very light. You can make it at the height you want and as many as you want with just one pipe.

I've tried both extended handles and the toe side grab rail. I think there's less fatigue using the toeside rail. You want about 1/2 inch to 1 inch foam/rubber rail. I'll leave the extended handle for those who are more flexible than I am. Try both, but keep in mind the toeside rail is another option for those who have short arms and want to do board offs.
But like Toby said it's do it yourself. Nobody makes them you have to make it yourself or hire someone.

All you need is nylon spacers and longer M6 stainless pan or flat head Phillips #3 (or Hex) screws to compensate. Example...
https://www.zoro.com/zoro-select-round- ... ew_Size=M6
You can also get different length spacers and experiment till it feels "right". Just like adjusting your stem and/or handle bar height on a bike.
If you're interested in rail-side grips, check out the Crab Grab rails.

True, I saw some people do it that way.
But, don’t be surprised if it breaks! Because there can be quiet some force on it…

They do make aluminum and stainless spacers as well. They would both be better for strength, but some minor added weight.

I stand corrected. Zoro's alloy and steel spacers only fit up to a M5 screw. Some other companies offer M6 versions. Example...

PVC tube handle with tennis racket grip. Grip is temporary just to test the handle. Will add a thicker one probably a mountain bike handlebar grip. Been testing it for a couple of months and works amazing. Also very light.

I rather think of the screws...
