Most of the world’s most dynamic surf sports have developed right on the shores of this surf community in the middle of the Pacific, from windsurfing to tow-surfing, kitesurfing, foilboarding and wing surfing. Cabrinha has played an inside role in the pioneering of each one of these sports.

In February 2020, the brand was purchased by Water Bound Investments from the Pryde Group, led by former professional kitesurfer and long-time Cabrinha professional athlete Jon Modica.
Maui is the birthplace of Cabrinha and today remains the epicentre for the brands marketing and R&D. With such a wind and wave rich setting the island has played a key role in the development of every product.
