Hi,
My experience with cabrinha ( use this brand from 2010) is not good with new canopy material nano ripstop from 2020.... the canopy is too rigid and is very simple created cuts and micro holes (the opposite cabrinha advertising)

Before 2020 the old canopy 2DR was more durable...i have old 2014 and 2017 drifters with a a lot of use and very good conditions...

I think the company probably don't want to see use old kites and soo the new kites want to last 2 or 3 years not more... that's my opinion

I've been kitesurfing 16 years and IMHO I think that most of the legit kite companies made pretty decent and durable gear and like in all other sports, started making "new and improved", "one-kite quivers", different models, purposefully confusing advertisements, etc. all in the name of "progression and research and development" in order to sell kites. Eventually this will catch up to them like on other sports. Until then it is buyer beware.

i haven't read any of this but , i would like to say this, light weight everything is complete shite, line's, fabric -you could trust the old flysurfer speed1's, and i have a speed2 light weight , black and gold beauty 10 metre, and i love that kite to bits, and its still going strong, and i have used this more than any other, landboarding, and i have several flysurfers, and a history of brain cancer ,and i'm bouncing to get going again but they took away, my driving, so i'm left with a silly little field down the road-wife says she will take me and i'm getting ready , been doing lots of training getting ready , and i have abbs showing for the first time in my life -i was told in 2012 it was months not years -i play guitar and sing and that has healed me

So they're from 1999, not 2017, right? That's what their website says. And I used to use their kites.
