I called lieuwe shop they actually recommended 138 mainly because I typically kite in <25 knots. So I went ahead and ordered the board. Hope I don’t regret it… its definitely expensive
For progressing on that's good advice - will be a little more forgiving than a 136 and therefore help you progress faster. 8)

I started with a Naish Motion then bought a Select SLS because I thought it was great for my progression to spend more bucks.

One Year later Im using my Select SLS only in low wind. It has, in comparison to the Motion, no rocker and is very stiff. Landings are harder, it turns not that well (feels like glued to flat water) but is fast as hell and rides upwind like magic. Motion is a real fun board, but you need a m² more in lowwinds.

Both 138, I'm 88kg.

Hi Emic,

Were you able to test your new board? How is it?
