Don't overthink neither board or kites, since you have Evo and switchblade get any board just in the right size, I would takie one size bigger if I was a beginner. Easier to get going more forgiving in transitions turns and you have ride it at lower wind.

I haven't tried shotgun but 133 Imo is pretty small. Big boards give softer landings, better upwind but slightly more work to hold an edge in powered conditions.

Big boards give harder landing than smaller boards as smaller board during landing would submerge more giving softer better damping effect unlike bigger board. Think about it like jumping from height into water on your feet first vs flat on your chest.
To make softer landing its good to land tail of board first than flat on both legs same time.
For size of the board if you often ride overpower take 133 if you more frequently have not enough wind take 136cm as simple as this.
Smaller board would hold edge in high winds.
Some people recommend to have 2 TT board I would prefer to get foil or surfboard instead second bigger TT

The lieuwe is a good board. It’s goes through chop well but i find it it a bit bouncy myself. I would go for the Jamie sls if I were you.

I called lieuwe shop they actually recommended 138 mainly because I typically kite in <25 knots. So I went ahead and ordered the board. Hope I don’t regret it… its definitely expensive

You will not regret it, you are buying a good board. At 70kg, 138 will be perfect. I am 63kg and my board for strong wind is a Shinn 135 and for lower wind I ride a Jaime sls 142 or a surf board and i am very satisfied.

Lieuwe recommends 133 for my weight but I’m thinking 136 will allow faster progression
Im 178 73kg and i tested on a 133 and bought the 136 since the 133 was a bit less comfortable for me.
No problem with the shotgun for beginners its a nice board very professional. I used to own a brunotti dimension board which is around half the price and you can feel it in the quality that shotgun is on another level.

133 definitely too small. I’m still learning and don’t typically go out when it blows over 25 kts (not yet). Had alot of second thoughts about getting the 138 based on advice on the chat. But decided to follow the recommendations from Lieuwe staff and go with the 138

I agree with this logic but I believe the landing force is a combination of gravity and forward speed and with less sinking (bigger board) more of the force is transfered into forward speed. Also I think it's easier to not catch the nose in the water with the longer board.
Anyway to OP I am 70 -72 kg and ride a 138 board and quite like it. I have a 133 as well which is a bit small.
