COMPETITION UPDATE: LEVANTE'S BACK ON FRIDAY!

Be on alert that we are back on a green light for a continuation of the Qatar Airways GKA Big Air World Championship tomorrow (Friday 1st July).

Skippers meeting is at 11.30am
First possible start is noon

DISCIPLINES: Strapless Big Air, Twin Tip Big Air

Stay tuned to the liveticker on the livepage for updates and also find the livestream running there too once the action begins! Saturday is also still looking very promising for the action to continue from early in the day, too!

There is roughly 11 hours of competition left to run in this Qatar Airways GKA Big Air World Championships.

Welcome to day 11 of the Qatar Airways GKA Big Air World Championships. Upcoming today - strapless and freestyle disciplines. Starting first with the women's strapless. It looks like we should have a full afternoon of competition with the Levante also blowing through tomorrow. Hold tight!

Very impressive competition and incredible level. Principi is really a complete rider even if he does not have the handle pass. But he is going high and always land clean. And he also has a good strategy.
The heat between Giel Vlugt and Luca Ceruti was great.
There really is a change in the rider hierarchy with the young ones taking the lead.

I agree it's the changing of the guard now. Which is awesome the youth is the future of the sport. Princpi,Casati and burlando etc all around 18
Makes me wonder if Nick or Marc will be out of a job nxt yr. Haven't seen nowhere near the amount of clips of him lately as I used to
I think Jesse seen the future groms coming up. And was over being injured.
