In Norway we had the coldest July-day recorded in Bergen for 40 years or something - and I guess that was due to climate change as well

I will start listening to people talking about climate change when Di Caprio stops renting yachts, Trudeau stops flying on holiday etc. Funnily enough the anger isn't directed towards them, but rather towards random posters on kite forums instead.

Dude -- you just need more cars in your motorcade from your private jet to the climate conference, then you don't have to listen at all. That shits for the peasant.

Remember when we were all going to burn to a crisp because of holes in the ozone layer? Or starve to death because of El Nino/La Nina, or the erosion of all the top soil? Or suffocate because all the trees in the Amazon were being chopped down? Or how we're all going to die of thirst because the water was going away? Or algae blooms were going to destroy fishing?

Yeah good times.

ain't changing , it's all fake news !!! LOL

What are these changes, gonna do for kiteboarding ?
More sun/block ?

I wanna listen to the Dumb A$$'s ; what do ya got to say ?

Bille
Last time the wife went to the UK, they left the ice cream out in the kitchen overnight and it was frozen solid to the bench in the morning under a sheet of ice.

You're confusing weather with climate, my dude.

Still waiting ; for an answer ??

Bille
It's happened many times before, read the Wikipedia history...electric cars and windmills will do little to nothing to save the planet...
You couldn't even begin to imagine ; how little i care about some
fricking Schmuck , that could , "Give a $hit" about our planet . :nono:

Go Away . :bye:

UK -- hottest temp , ever recorded ; what part of humans are screwing Up
do you not understand ?

Bille
Of course nitwit 7billion people are affecting our planet in a negative way.
But if you think the green new deal will make anything better you are a tool.
Ironically it was the tree hugging alarmist in the 60s and 70s who drove us from nuclear power to only be more dependent on fossil fuels

ALSO
I never mentioned if the heat wave and change in climate
was man made , or a product of nature.

The climate on planet earth , has bin changing for a million + years
and will continue to do so for as long as earth exists.

Bille
Apparently , a few of you , your too fricken Stupid ; to actually grasp
what I said , in an earlier post . Try reading it again.

Why all this anger Sarda? But thank you for more of your valuable contributions

If you disagree fine. Another anecdote for you. I work for a company which has probably around twenty customers that 99% of all posters on here would know (so fairly large and in some cases important companies). We offer a zero carbon alternative of our product. It is true zero not by offsetting through allowances or anything like that. Right now the cost of the zero carbon alternative vs our regular product is typically between 5 and 10% (it will be a lot higher in the future, but people like yourself don’t want to hear that of course). How many as opted for the zero carbon product? Well zero. We got one lesser known (but still a very big company - so credit to them) who has. That is it.

But hey. Let us pretend you are the virtuous one and the problem is the fringe minority like myself

I'm going to guess you are Equinor's website content provider?
Are you pretending to be like Anders?
Would you like me to email the pope about getting you canonised?

It was hot, humid, and windy this past week. I'll take shorts over a full suit any day. This is not an opinion on climate change, rather appreciation for epic summer conditions.
