Looks like this is not a video of a working prototype. At 22 seconds they shifted to another screen (attached other pump to the hose?) and why moving the camera at 31 seconds to the tip and back to the hose? To re-attach the COR 'pump'? Hopefully I'm not right and they will deliver a great product. However till now they didn't show any proof of a working product so I wouldn't throw any money in it.

If they have a working prototype they really should send one to Toby for a review. Then they would get orders.
They have some review videos of people testing it.
Ummm......not really.
Just a bunch of people holding it saying it's awesome.

I was hoping to see someone actually use it(with the pump IN FRAME) on a kite. Not a big ask for an actual demonstration.

It's not, but also kind of lot of work for a scam.

This is truly a bit of a mystery

I got one of these battery pumps for my car and motorcycle tires. It works very well, but we are talking tiny volume vs. a kite (a lot more pressure as well of course).

To me it seems like it should be quite easy to make a pump that works for kites, but then you got to wonder why anyone haven't just done it yet - another mystery.

The Avro lithium battery powered kite pump is quite small too and it actually exists right now

They're quite comical!

Yeah Havre, this is really a head scratcher.....they've put some effort into this whether it's a legit item with poor presentation or an elaborate scam aimed at lazy ass kiters. (me!)
I applaud their efforts regardless!

However, in 25+ years of internetting I have yet to be hacked, phished, scammed, catfished/dogfished, hijacked/lowjacked, whiggity whack jacked, yoinked or otherwise! Therefore I will ONLY purchase once Toby buys one and does a full video demonstrating it's effectiveness!!! :pump:

99% sure this is a scam based on all the other scams ive seen on kickstarter which indeed eventually turned out to be a scam/flop. Be very wary, maybe once toby has tested it…

I saw a FB post that hinted at a release date sometime in August. If I were launching this thing, I'd send a few units out to the higher profile YouTubers to get some good word of mouth going. The messaging, lack of demo videos, broken links on the website and the size, design and performance claims all point to scam. But then again, I'm sure plenty of people said the same about Henry Ford back in the day. I remain hopefully optimistic.

Perhaps they need a couple more months to lure in more suckers (oops, I meant investors)?
