Not the full allula A series but the partial allula HL series. Can not find any comments on the web.

It feels a little lighter, faster, and more solid than the previous generation Dacron Roams. The wind is always on-shore with crappy, messy, small waves here so I've never even seen a barrel. So, take my wave reviews with that in mind....

Good thanks. Can you compare to the full allula construction ? Even better if you can give feedbacks vs ozone enduro v3.

The HL is just not as light or stiff as the A-Series. The upstroke is a little slower on the HL etc. Same with the Drift. The A-series is just a little better. Sorry, I haven't taken an Enduro in the waves.

Finally decided to buy a 9m Roam Hl to replace an enduro 9m v3 that felt heavy and slow in the turns. Was worried that it would feel sluggish compared to our 10m full allula Roam, it was not. Good feeling, sweet riding, the performance level is not quite that of the A series but the price is not either. It does a very very good job for those who prefer nimbleness to hangtime. Plentyfull power for freeriding my 200 pound carcass on a tt. My 2 cents is that smaller than 10m the HL series is the best bang for the buck. For larger kites the full Allula constructions are unbeatable and worth the extra cost.
NB: my wife who could not believe I was going to change the 9m v3 enduro bought 6 month ago, agreed the 9m Roam flies much better.
Play safe, play again tomorrow!
Cheers !

Additional info to my first comments on the Roam HL after a second session. Gusty conditions 18 to 27 knots. Fully trimmed at the 27 mark. Kite remains with good control trimmed. Appreciated the gradual power control of the bar throw. Strangely I got the feeling the HL version is a bit more powerfull than the A series. Leading edge is bigger, that may explain. Still very happy with my transfer.

New edit, liked the Roam HL 9m so much for wave riding that I decided to also replace the 8m Enduro v3 with a Roam. I heard a rumor that OR will drop the HL construction completely to specialize in the high end aluula only. Potential good deals to be had.
