Why isn't there a huge single skin?

I have sold my xxlite to 600 euros .... Would have loved to resell to a light winder passionate like me, but finally a "standard" paraglider bought it :-).

It was a 19m2. But honestly, the design of the arch was bit too flat and would have required long and fine briddle redesign / tuning to have enough arch and wing twisting to be parked on the side and ride... But it was a nice experience.

As alternative you can buy an existing single skin skycountry hysper 14m , in same cloth 27gr/m2 as xxlite and relaunchable avove 7 knots. 1.4 kg for 14m which is nice...



I had one also , but low end with a double skin pulsion 18m2 27gr is better IMO. Both hang in the air with almost same wind but waterstart requires lower wind with pulsion. And more comfort.
