the Core Xr4 5-12m is ultralight on the bar if it is set on the light setting on the bridles.

I’m fairly fit. In normal times I go to the gym 4-6 times a week etc. I’m not amazingly strong or anything, but my arms and grip are stronger than the average kiter. Still on an old Rebel I will get a bit tired after long sessions. Might partly be because my steering isn’t technically perfect, but a lot of kiters are also worse than me.
The older 5-line Rebels had hefty bar pressure. Since they moved to the 4-line setup, it's gone decently light. At least on 2018-2021 anyway. Even my 15m is easily run 1-handed for board offs.
Like you, really keen to try the SLS.

I am with you chasing boosting kites with light bar pressure for last 10 years. Many people that don't have this problem don't understand what we are looking for. Often it is understood as pressure during turning the kite but that is just a slow turning that has nothing to do with high bar pressure. I had 2014 Liquid force NRG quiver that were really slow but had great light bar pressure.
Recently I had rebels from 2019 and 2020. XR4, XR5, XR6, Pivot from 2019, Orbit 2021, 2022. It seems that north kites have the lightest to me. I have Orbit 2021 11m that is just perfect. It jumps to me as high as rebel or XRs just little less float. For the reference, I am nothing special, jumping up to 10 meters, some rotation and looping transitions. I had Orbit 2022 9m. It had light bar pressure but float was even worse to me. Currently I keep XR6 9m that for whatever reason has actually lower bar pressure on a low V bar (you need to add 8cm pigtails on back lines) than on original Core bar with high V split. Still Orbit is the best in regards to pressure. I did buy 2022 evo sls 10m week ago but hadn't had a chance to try it yet.
