I'm thinking of getting a 15m Sonic V2 , because there is a good deal on it.
I usually fly a 17m Ozone Edge on a twintip, or an 8m Pansh Genesis on the snow.
How can I expect the Sonic V2 kite to fly, compared to eg a Flysurfer Soul or Pansh A15?
I've been kiting for 2 summers and 1 winter. Just started going upwind, and am transitioning to foiling. Will this kite be too advanced for me?

I did the sonic 3 to be so much more stable and much easier to relaunch
Strongly suggest you get a sonic 3 or better yet a soul

Agree, I’ve had the 15mtr Sonic V2 and V3, the 3 is so much better I would never consider a 2. Had heaps of swims with the 2, just getting the kite in the wrong place while learning tack and it looses shape and falls out of the sky. Just doesn’t happen with the 3, it holds it’s shape and drifts back in the window.
The only time I’d consider the 2 is for TT use, where your just back and forth and jumping, works just fine in stronger winds.

In my opinion: yes it is. This kite is not intend to foil kite newcomer. It does need extra care in preparation, flight, and landing. Its flight characteristics are not very intuitive. I own one, which I like, but can’t consider it as an easy kite.
If you really want to step up to a foil kite, I think you’d better have to go for a Soul instead.
