I will be in Punta Mita area in late Dec / early Jan (For what its worth, I think Im staying in a house near Bolongo - just east of Punta Mita). Anybody have any intel as to the conditions and accessibility for winging down there? Ive read that time of year is kind of shoulder season for wind and it doesn't look like the kite schools are even operating. The purpose of the trip isnt for wind sports and I don't want to schlep my gear down there if its going to be a bust, but I would LOVE to get time on the water if the conditions allow.
