Looks like a decent field. My money is on one of the new kids, maybe Luca or Andrea. Would like to see Giel do it though.

Jesse Richman is not in the list. Did he not apply or was he not selected?
I also think that either Andrea and Lorenzo is going to win

So I've been out of the loop, so to speak, for six months while sailing, but I just watched the Cold Hawaii Games and it appears that only the youngsters doing double loops or these S-loops are likely to win, which means guys like Kevin Langaree are no longer going to be competitive unless they can up their game one more time. I'd love to be there this year, but probably cannot get there till later in December.

I think all of them will be doing doubles and a loops by then except possibly Kevin.
Airton is already landing doubles strapless and could win if conditions are good.
Let’s hope for 40 knots se with 3m 12 sec west swell so nice and smooth between kickers

let's see what Liam is up to...his high handle passes can make a difference, if he pulls all those double loops etc like the young guns...

What about Marc Jacobs? His ability to change from goofy to regular stance just to win the KOTA last time was very impressive, and he's certainly one of the most courageous kiters I've ever seen. When he was still focussed on jumping on the way in during previous contests he would land perilously close to the sand. Just checked his YouTube channel and he has double loops in the bag now too, so will be formidable.
