Light weight kite harness

Postby Sbrinckman » Fri Nov 18, 2022 4:46 pm

Any suggestions on a light weight harness to use with my carbon slider bar for kite foiling and wave surfing?
I prefer waist harness.

Thanks, Stinos

Take a look at the Ether Harness from AK Durable Supply Co (an offshoot of Airush I’m told). I tried this on when I paid a visit to kiteboarding.com’s store in Texas and was impressed. Apparently a few of the guys there love it for foiling. Very comfortable and felt like it wouldn’t ride up. Probably not “enough harness” for TT riding. I normally wear a seat harness for TT, foil, and surfboard, but this felt good enough that I’m thinking of adding it to the quiver.

The name says it all.

The AKDSC model HurlyBurly mentioned would be worth checking out as well. Try them both if you can. Whatever fits you best is the harness to get. :thumb:
