Thank you Toby for keeping the forum alive, adding new wind sports like wing surfing. Without the wing surfing forum I would not have received the good advice that continues to help me progress.
I started out kitesurfing 21 years ago with the late Hung Vu's kitesurfingschool.org, which is still up and running. Then in 2005 I found out about Rick Iossi's Florida Kitesuring Association's forum FKSA.org. That forum is still up but not that active as I believe that most Florida (Tampa Bay) kitesurfers use Kite Jam on Facebook.
Then in 2016 I found kiteforum. Thanks again Toby!!

Yes, guest was ok, but then the spam world took over...now that bad that I manually have to give access to new users and the first posts of them...otherwise the forum would be 99% spam. Daily so many spam accounts register...it just sad which way the internet has gone.

October 2002 was a great month!
Nice job Toby - keeping anything like this going for this length of time is an accomplishment.
I'm always surprised how many latecomers there are to Kiteforum - many of whom say they have been kiting 20 years. How did they not come across Kiteforum much earlier?
