This site has provided a lot of information to a lot of kiters over the years. It's one of the reasons I got into kiting. I haven't been posting for long, but I've been reading for well over a decade. It's helped me make a lot of decisions.

Seeing what people like yourself do was extremely exciting and inspirational (and still is).

The site has def been a huge resource - I joined it early while learning to kite. I since became an instructor and have successfully taught close to a thousand people how to ride. I recall asking for tips on first learning, the fiasco with certain manufacturers that got a call from the CEO of that company, the tips on how to actually perform a megaloop vs simply a kiteloop (one motion for jump and loop), etc.

A great service to the kite community - thanks Toby! Somebody asked about late comers. I read the Forum more or less from the start but didn’t really have the time to contribute until I totally retired. Plus Toby, Peter, and others seemed to have giving good advice covered!!

PS Tide on the ebb, 20-26knts cross on, 1.1m swell @ 12sec ……… no more posts today!!
