RE Unity Spreader bar - big issue with duotone freeride kit (small chicken loop)

I have an issue using the RE unity spreader bar together with Duotone"s freeride kit; the one with the small chicken loop.

The quick releae is activated/pulled automatically sometimes because it seems to get stuck behind the spreader bar; happened to me 3 times past few weeks after a crash. Given 30+ knots it was no fun.

I suspect it's a combiation of the thickness of the spreader bar en the small chickenloop making the quick release sit closer to your body.

Any other experience similar?
