Predictions for Ram Airs in 2023

Notice to Ram Lovers: the following content is distressing, including graphic references to ram air failures and underperformance.

Well, it’s that time of year again. Ram lovers have had enough time now to recover from their NYE celebrations (catching pokémons alone in their underwear while eating jam donuts) to refocus on their problems.

PREDICTIONS
1) Ram airs will continue to cRaSh in competitions:
e.g. www.gkakiteworldtour.com shows *NO* ram lovers in the upper ranks of freestyle, surf style, big air, etc. History will repeat this year: ram airs will crash in ALL significant competitions.

2) The shift of riders from kiting to winging (which uses INFLATABLES) and from ram air kite to inflatable will continue.
- Ram air sales will continue to fall as a proportion of kites sold, because they are less safe, harder to learn on, and aerodynamically inferior.

Waaaay back in 2007, “pluvious” predicted the CrAsh of ram airs in 2023. viewtopic.php?t=2343945. Similarly, “grigorib” predicted their demise this year. viewtopic.php?t=2411734 . Will these Nostradamus-like sages be correct?

Ignore the lies. Ignore the propaganda. Ram airs ARE aerodynamically inferior compared to inflatables.

Can you comment on the connections between ram airs and genetic engineering of covid-19 , Russian wars, and supply chain disruptions along with the coming 2023 recession?

2023 PREDICTIONS
3) Single Skins will now rule all things kiting. Like LEIs they only have one layer and don’t rely on inlet pressure for inflation, things PMU appreciate. Even better than LEI, no inflation required at all, no pumping, no bladders, no leaks, struts the size of weedeater string, and a bit lighter too. Oh yea, and pulleys with many bridle lines, bonus features PMU I’m sure will fully endorse.

Winging is certainly stealing riders. Some are switching almost completely.

You gotta mention how and why foil kites better in racing and your arguments will look more objective
