Problems with the search engine... Trying to find "control bar" parts....

I'm having problems with the search engine for Kiteforum.

What I am looking for, is a supplier for the bifurcated plastic sheathing commonly used for control bars. I am also interested in home-made control bar rigging for hydrofoiling kites, but I wish to retain a secondary release/safety.

The search engine has proven useless in my search, and even though I know I have even seen long discussions of my query in the past, the search engine automatically eliminates any words with three letters or less

Anyone have similar problems?... Anyone help me out?... I'm sort of an idiot, and for the life of me I can't think of a search term for "control bar" where all of the words contain more than three letters...

The closest word I can think of is "tavern." ....I remain fairly confident that this will not yield any relevant results.

This is a common problem - but if you DID search for 3 letter words, you would get 100000 hits or more, which wouldnt help you.

If you search for "Control" first, then you get 22568 hits.

Now you can search ONLY in these topics, say for "Floaters" - and you get 36 hits.

You get the idea - a workaround so to speak.
But correct, when searching only these topics, it would be nice to be able to search for some 3 letter words yes.

You can also use advanced search and search in specific forums, say "Gear Builders", if you want less hits and more targeted.
Even better, if you can remember someone answering, use his/hers username.
