Hi everyone,
Its been a while since my last time kitesurfing in the NE of Brasil.
Any place to recommend.
I ve been in Cumbuco, Paracuru, Prea and Jericoacoara.
Any comments about new spots to explore would be helpful, also any update on the safety of Cumbuco and Jeri, since I was told they got a bit unsafe in past years.
Thanks,
And Good Winds!

You visited the most known places of the area.
Things can always happen, a robbery here and there. Just keep eyes open and look out for and you should be fine.
Cumbuco developing a lot, roads being made, walking zones etc. nice restaurants.
As alternative you can go to Taiba for flat water lagoon and waves.
Ilha do Guajiru for flat water, also Tatajuba for stronger wind and flats, although tidal.
Atins and Lencois for flat water and the amazing dunes with lakes area.
Or do a downwind tour to see the whole area from Cumbuco til Atins.

Barra Grande (+ its sorrundings) is great, definitely best place to kite if you on twinTip. I know it is far from FOR, but worth going. + boat ride into Delta do Parnaiba & kiting there on sandBank, great experience.
