With your weight you can go for an 11m Reach as your biggest kite. I prefer the 11 over the 12 as it pulls less and has a better high end and it will be great in the 17-20 Knot range. In addition you can get either one 8m Orbit or a 7m and a 9m Orbit. For the smaller sizes I would always choose the Orbit over the Reach for twin tip riding. They are handling strong wind and gusts better and give you more hangtime. The smaller sizes of the Reach are super fast, which is great for a surf board or foil, but a bit too much for many twin tip riders.

That's actually something I've been thinking about, definitely nice to have a low wind kite but maybe the 11m would be more than enough while also being usable around 17-18-19knots.

Will keep an eye open for an 11m if any deals come up

Yeah at 70 I also got rid of the 12 and now riding 11 orb. Didn't try the reach in 11 yet but I think it could be a winner. Only downside is worse resale value of 11m

Yeah I see more and more people having 9/12, an 11m is quite rare, haven't seen that many

Ideal is if you can try. 12/9 is what most are taught to get so they have that and never try anything else. It also depends on kite model and your weight

11 reach is great and faster than the 12, feels almost like a ten compare to the 12.
Imo I would pick 11 reach and 9 orbit or, alternatively, reach 13 orbit 10 and then an 8 for stronger days

Ps: everybody is talking about the 11 but you already have the reach 12? Just pick the orbit 10/8 or just a reach 9

take the pulse 12 instead of the reach. Faster, directer, more power. Finally a 12 that is nice to kite with

How is the low end of the newer Pulse? I had a 12m 2020 and the low end was non-existent. It was a very fun kite though once it was windy.

Don't use it a light wind kite, it's just an incredible kite when the wind picks up a bit. I have my 17 reach for lightwind :-)
