Hi.
I weigh 90 KG, advanced beginner and fly psycho 12.5. I want to be able to kite in 12-25 knots. Which loose AX board will be perfect for me, the 150 or the 160?
How difficult is it for beginners?
Thanks.

If your powered the small boards work best like 140 cm.
I know nothing of this x board of witch you speak?
go small its easy to ride and easier to edge a small board go small you will like!!

I should go for the AX150, it almost planes as early as the AX160 but has a much more comfortable and controllable high-end.
And jumps on the 150 are better.

man 90kg is heavy, so much depends on the wind you ride in.
i'd try the 150, and put bigger fins in the heelside.

I am 80kg and have the 140 and 160. 140 is great when really windy, used it last weekend with the 12 psycho in 20knts and the 160 is great once you get towards the low end of the kites - makes a really big difference.
Wear a helmet, the AX has super sharp edges that hurt like hell if they hit you.

i would go for the 1.40
best board i ve tried, perfect feeling when you jump and land
because of the negative rails you might be over sooner than another board of same size or bigger
but i think they are no longer producing the 1,40 (only 1.50 and 1.60)

90 KG:
140 is too small for the low end. 160 gets too big in any case. I got both of them. In case you like riding one boar only, get the AX150.
Yeah if you ride with leash don't forget helmet!! Sharp and sinking edges!!
