Hi,

We have offered Ingrid to still to the camp in Egypt, but at the Magawish and we have arranged excellent room rates for her and anyone how planned to come to the kite show and still wants to go to Egypt at that time.

If she wants to do it, we are there for her.

Thanks,

Mo

Hi Bengan,

It seems that some people still want to go to Egypt esp. if the war will not happen.

I already took my vacation and looking for anothe rspot or same. What are the rates at the Magawish as an alternative?

Will it be dead by that time or you can still find some people?

Let us know.

Ciao,
MO

Hi Bengan.
We ( 10 pers.) are not able to cancel our tickets to El Guana and going to go, - if charter fly's.
For sure I know, best place for kiting is Colona, but anyway , as we have booking in El Guana downtown , is there kiting beach, with facility where to store and rent equipment.
Thanks in advance
Andris

We have been with Windsurf and Kitesurf magazines in Egypt during past troubles. Despite the large numbers of toursits being flown out immediately we still view Egypt as a 'safe' place and whilst we would not run a trip their for the public due to the insurance problems, I, as the guy at Kitesurf Mag, am happily going to Hurghada for the Slingshot bash at the start of the month. It's not bravado, I feel the problem is smaller than is made out, the big companies do have to play far safer than is needed by individuals, they have to…
… you have far more choice.
At the end of the day if you can get a plane then go there. It will be lonely in town at night with no masses of dive tourists, but there will be more space on the beach and yopu will get a lot more attention from the shopkeepers. Doh!
So come on lets keep Hurghada in business.
There again if you do go it's your chpoice so don't whinge or blame me if it does get cancelled. It is not a no risk world.

That it's a bit of a dare, who will go to Dubai when there is a war? And is there wind in that place at that time?

In April 2002 Robby Naish & Adam Koch were in Dubai for a demo. First day 12 to 14 knots, second day 20 to 25 knots and third day 18 to 22 knots, they were stocked to be riding there 12's and 16's.

Feb to April is a good time for wind in Dubai, last week we had two full days of 20 to 30 knots!!!

No matter what happens in Iraq, Dubai will NEVER EVER be effected, so don't be concerned. Dubai is a long way from Iraq and friendly with all countries.

The Red Bull King of the Air event is planned for the 9 - 11 April and the full Red Bull team will be here plus other pro's. All Pro's are welcome and a seperate post will be made once the poster is ready.

Steve
