... Can the 7075 be annealed, quenched and then allowed to age harden?
I mostly know about 6061-T6 , because i always chose it over
the 7075, for my hang glider frames. I use to like ta drag the leading edge tip
to show-off on landings with the rogallo wings ; sometimes i'd bend them
a bit and could straighten it back , (not an option with 7075) but the
later is stronger and lighter. About 5-8Lb difference in weight, for
the same glider ; and the 7075 cost a bunch more.
Now days i only fly carbon rigid-wings , and Paragliders ; sold my rogallo.
Dang i miss that thing !

Dear friend of mine made this. (I will post post-anodized pics when he gets it back)
But yep. tap responsibly
I intend to get mine looking more like that. Its a bit blocky right now. I'm going to be shaving down the wing area so that the bottom of the wing is flush with the bottom of the fuselage, tapering both ends some more, and rounding the corners. Its a work in progress, but it will be functional at every stage.

Milling machine and a lot of small movements unfortunately. Not having CNC throws you back to first half of 20th century manufacturing. Having a copier falls into same category and would have helped but he didn't have that either.
