Beta test - online kite design software

I've been working for the last few months on an offline version of KaroroCAD - as a 1st class plugin to Rhino3D:

The online version has been on the back burner BUT today it received its first update of 2022.

Hi All,

We have been getting great feedback from our users on the performance improvements with last months updates - if you've not checked them out jump on and test.

KaroroCAD v0.26 was uploaded this morning:

Two updates:

1/ Separate AOA control for the rear line bridle length:

This has been on the plugin for a while but was missed on recent online updates - just allows the rear line length to be adjusted but also to scale with sizes etc.

2/ 2 Ply option for canopy reinforcement:

From the start KaroroCAD canopy reinforcement was trimmed from the canopy panels, with this option you can create '2 ply' style reinforcements over full size canopy panels:

Hi Guys,

KaroroCAD v0.30 is live today, not much to rave about, just a bunch of bug fixes.

In particular the wing tip canopy panel is has a more robust build, recent speed improvements had lead to errors in the wing tip build file.

Thanks DK for sharing this fun freeware! I'm not an engineer, but love DIYing, so this is great for people like me who don't know CAD but want to see what factors into kite design. Thank you!
