Lots of time off the water with an injury now what should?
I will build another foil....YEAH!
Here's the progress foil build done.
Made a new mould for this foil, a little more hydrodynamic than the last.
Still putting the finishing touches to the board.
Cheers

Do you mind sharing pics of your molds? Lessons learned? Do's and don'ts? I have a CNC and trying to cut molds for someone else, the mast is no problem and I think we figured out the fuselage but I haven't figured out the wings yet, due to not sure where to split the mold because of the curved wing. Just cannot seem to wrap my head around how to do this.

1.volume with a large area ?
how much volume or area?
better yet what is the size of your board?
thanks ,
Pedro
If you have a large surface area that bouncing down on the water (spoon shape) it is more likely to stay on top of the water, than a small sharp shape like a surf board nose shape.
The board is 1500mm x 500mm x 75mm

Surely since the board spends little time in the water it should be as minimalist as practical?
Hi Plums
As I said in the previous post for the board with volume, I built just a thin get me by board 19mm thick just so I could find the right placing on the board for the foil, but when ever I touched down the nose caught the water and tracked ending in a foil bomb,
when the wind dropped I always ended up swimming I couldn't even sit on the board no buoyancy.
I prefer a board for all the seasons when the wind isn't to predictable.
