Let's see some Clips of what works!
Thanks for the picts , now all can see you have indeed built a KBHF.
So now for your choice of words in your very first and edited post?
Bajadrifty, I can understand your "interest" is to see those succeding with their DIY's thus you would like to see video when riding those ?
Well, let me say it this way, almost ALL of them works
Some might find they need to strengthen or stiffen to get it to work reasonably well, and most of them are pretty slow of course, but around here there are lots of DIY foils, and they work, some are also quite fast.
Our 2014 Hydrofoil championships had two classes, a production and a DIY.
Most often, those having built themeselves, are moving to production foils because they have enjoyed making one or several foils themeselves, but when they have learned to ride and find out how GREAT a sensation it is to hydrofoil, they can see clearly what they want, and which road they want to take.
Thus going for a production foil which are typically both stiffer and faster and more well balanced.
But before getting to this point, many (who has the time) build one because of "all the exitement" to go foiling without too much cash involved - and they get hooked each and everyone, so they buy a production foil later.
A few of course (very few), does it because they LOVE building, and testing and trying different things, so they keep at it - also great
Back to the topic - my point is that most of them works.
And riding out there, nobody cares if a DIY or a production, when having fun - so IMO all video of hydrofoils are great, no matter what type of foil and board, because we are not that many out there
