Finally got concave in the boards, I could always do it in a vacuum bag but with a press it was a bit more work.

Rotho.
Nah, that's a production board isn't it....
It is not difficult to have this finish in a press, but it's not so easy to have it on top
So, reveal the top and show us your master skills!

Its not a production, but I have sold a few of these in different sizes and shapes.
www.mthboards.com
For me it was extremely difficult to get a finish on these. It really did take me years to figure out.
and now it takes about 1 hour to do both sides but all day to cure.
They don't come out of the press looking like this, but I wish they did I would save a lot of time.
Here's the top

Ah yes, epoxy hot coat.
Did you try mylar in a press?
Since you have a press I myself would not settle for anything else than a topsheet. Both sides since your top is flat and there is no problem with bridging.
That way I think you would save heaps of time:)

Yeah I use mylar in the press top and bottom but when it comes out it shows all the weave patters which I like, but it seems like other people like the shine, I really don't because of the extra work.
I have used the topsheets from crown plastics but its milky white not super clear.
I placed an order from some company in France for the clear stuff but they didn't want to take my paypal so I never got around to getting some yet.
I kind of want to try some type of textured top sheets so when you do bang it up it wont look so much like shit after a few years, but I also want it clear.

I've just got some samples from them (if it's the same company I'm thinking of) just do a bank transfer?
