I thought from your cad vid that you had to dismantle the bar to adjust the rear lines, I see now that's not what you meant.

My version: 1:1, single cleat/stopper in middle, outside the bar, single continuous line forms both rear leaders.
Using Aluminum in a high corrosion environment, where its performance has safety implications, requires very specialized knowledge and treatment - just do a search for the F-one bandit bars from about 5 years ago that were delivered untreated!Materials used ... aluminum ...
