Here's a place for those of us looking to advance the kite control bar, eliminate or radically change the chicken loop and spreader bar.

This looks like a prototype of the current BRM CCS bar. Appears to be a stripped-down Naish bar with a push away safety leash for a QR, a single depower line up to some sort of splitter. Comments?

This is what I've been using for a long time. Simple and usable for any kite. I use a brass panic snap (horse people are familiar with these) on my rope slider instead of a spreader bar. My rear lines provide me with unlimited trimming for any kite I've encountered, and a long center line with a stainless steel ring instead of a bulky chicken loop gives me all the sheeting I need. Easily adaptable for spinnable fifth lines, single front line vs double front line releases, foils or inflatables.

Where can I buy spare parts to build a bar similar to BRM CCS. for example where do I buy parts like in the picture below and what would I search for even? What would this be called when bought as a spare part on say Alibaba?

On the bar this is called a QR . But this is probably being sold on Alibaba or amazon as what?

Also, how to find spare parts like : stopper balls, swivels etc. Is there a site that sells all those parts as parts, not as already "pricy QR release" ?

Talked to some guys in LF at a demo about the new bar (which had a lot of trouble), they could confirm that new/modified bar is under development. Hopefully with PU tubing as on Brandon's pictures.

What is it with people being enamored with the PU tube crap!? It has one clear advantage against 5 clear disadvantages... I just do not get it... Damn I hate PU tube
