Here's some build photo's.
Its bamboo core. I used bamboo because bamboo/carbon combo is extremely robust. I use that combo on my landboard and hit rocks every ride. That board is still going strong after many years use.tegirinenashi wrote:I'd question usage of hardwood flooring for the core. This material is usually high density wood; the higher the density, the more scratch resistant the floor surface is. Now, high density translates into weight. Why not to use balsa for core?
I am following the delta foil guys advice on rear stab aoa relative to the front. I've set it at 2 deg to begin with. I have no idea where to put the foot straps. So I will roll strapless until i get a handle of where the straps should be.Peter_Frank wrote:Looking really good Plummet
It will work, only a matter of trim regarding straps and rear wing aoa maybe

I read the learn with straps/strapless thread and came to the conclusion that the advice was 50/50. But i have nothing to loose by installing a front strap and trying it out. So i will do that.Peter_Frank wrote:Bad idea IMO - you wont have a chance this way....plummet wrote:Snip...

And IF you eventually learn without straps, you wont put them on later
Put one front strap on, so you can learn fast - put it quite forward, then it will be easy and safe, and if it is too far forward, you just put your rear foot further behind - works like a charm this way
