Hi guys,

my first pocked foil board, whole paulownia board, 115x43x2cm, a bit heavy 3kg
next one planning with airex foam inside, my goal to build less than 2kg
Looks sweet. Can you say something about the construction method?

construction pretty simple, 3 layers of paulownia was pressed with my board press, between layers 80g fiberglass and epoxy resin, later sandwich was shaped outline, edges and coated with epoxy

Looks great. As many will tell you, maybe you can skip putting fiberglass inside as it adds little to the stiffness but a fair bit to the weight. Well, 89g cloth is very light so maybe not much, but I think it would be better on the outside than on the inside.

Fiberglass inside because all 3 paulownia layers are longitudinal, of course can be outside too

No need.

Outside only is enough since 2cm Paulownia is super strong:

Remember, original Alaia or Paipo is just wood :)

The question about foil board mount holes
Attached picture with holes dimensions, there are some standard dimensions?

Um, Is that correct? I thought 165x90 is pretty much the standard for hole spacing on most plates. If you have a track system, its not so crucial to get the 165 right, but if your putting in inserts, the 162 shown above could mess you up.

I have had zeeko and lift. They are 165mm x 90 mm

I use inserts for mount, not tracks, wide 90 cm seems standard but length a bit tricky..
